FAQ
To suppress the debilitating symptoms of cravings and withdrawal, enabling the patient to engage in therapy, counseling, and support, so they can implement positive long-term changes in their lives which develops into the new healthy patterns of behavior necessary to achieve sustained addiction remission.
Addiction to opioids begins with the body developing a tolerance. This can occur after only 2 or 3 days. The patient might begin to feel that the prescribed dose of opioids is no longer effective and increases the dose. After the patient increases the dose, which they may do several times, the body begins to develop a dependence on the opioid prescription. This means the person develops cravings for the opioid when the effects are wearing off, and they may start to experience symptoms of withdrawal.
