Recovery is a journey not a destination and I am so grateful to have been able to access treatment at Hazelden during my greatest time of need. The level of care Is exceptional. I was educated about the disease of addiction and learned tools and strategies for living in the solution. At the end of the day I need to put their suggestions and recommendations into action one day at a time. Sobriety does not happen by osmosis. Spending a few weeks by the lake to simply dry out is a waste of money.
They have on campus AA meetings daily , group and one on one counseling, medical & mental health professionals and much more. Speakers come in each evening to give inspirational stories of their personal recovery stories. The family program is fantastic and free for one family member. I have had long periods of sobriety in my life and have had to return to Center City more then once. I attribute that to choices that wish I had made differently.

Going to Hazelden for Residential treatment after treatment and sober living are not any of those. They are the best.

Hazelden truly changed my life. I now work with guys who need help and Hazelden is always helpful and understanding. It’s no wonder that they are the number one facility for addiction. Two years sober and could not be happier with my decision to go to Hazelden.
