Feedbacks

Family week saved my sanity, gave my husband and me tools to deal with our daughter’s addiction, and gave us the opportunity to talk with others facing the same challenges. I have never been in a room with so much fear, anger, anguish, and guilt but I believe most of us ended with hope and strength.

Linda M.

When I came to Hazelden I was spiritually and emotionally bankrupt. I had a mountain of problems to which I could see no solution. By using my counselor as my higher power, and following the directions were given to me by her and by the rest of the staff, slowly, one day at a time, the problems have worked out. I owe my life to Hazelden and I am eternally grateful for the solutions I found there.

Jay W.

When I came to Hazelden, I had nowhere to turn. The staff there showed me how to open doors to a life of spiritual growth and happiness that I had never known. I now use these tools in everyday life and share them with others in recovery who are in need of hope as I was 8 months ago.

I recently completed treatment at center city. Very high quality services. The woman in the business office was so helpful–very kind, knowledgeable–a gem. I absolutely recommend their treatment if you are so unfortunate to need it.

Recovery is a journey not a destination and I am so grateful to have been able to access treatment at Hazelden during my greatest time of need. The level of care Is exceptional. I was educated about the disease of addiction and learned tools and strategies for living in the solution. At the end of the day I need to put their suggestions and recommendations into action one day at a time. Sobriety does not happen by osmosis. Spending a few weeks by the lake to simply dry out is a waste of money.
They have on campus AA meetings daily , group and one on one counseling, medical & mental health professionals and much more. Speakers come in each evening to give inspirational stories of their personal recovery stories. The family program is fantastic and free for one family member. I have had long periods of sobriety in my life and have had to return to Center City more then once. I attribute that to choices that wish I had made differently.

Going to Hazelden for Residential treatment after treatment and sober living are not any of those. They are the best.
