By combining innovative clinical and holistic therapies with a data-driven approach, they empower their clients to completely transform their lives and achieve long-term recovery.
In 1998, a short group of like-minded friends joined together to create Mountainside, a new type of alcohol and drug rehabilitation program focused on the individual rather than a pre-determined treatment methodology. They believed that supplementing traditional therapies with holistic wellness practices could vastly improve the efficacy of substance abuse therapy and better equip people with the tools they need to maintain long-term sobriety. Their founders’ belief is now conventional wisdom. However, they do not measure their success by the industry we changed; they measure it by the lives they have shaped.

FAQ
The first step of the admissions process is to complete a quick 15-minute evaluation over the phone. This evaluation helps determine if Mountainside is the best fit for the person in need of treatment as well as what level of care they would require. During this time, we will also complete a verification of benefits with the person’s insurance company. Once we have clinical approval for admission and can verify the benefits, we will schedule an appointment for admission.
We have a rolling admissions process and can admit clients 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Our goal is to make it as easy as possible for those in need to begin treatment. Depending on the needs of the person seeking treatment, we accept both same-day admissions or can schedule admission for a specific date. We are also able to admit individuals during the day and evening. And if transportation is needed, we can help arrange that as well.
