Costs related to IOP and OP treatment service are often covered by private insurance. Daytop New Jersey will verify insurance coverage and work with your insurer to access benefits that will cover the cost of treatment. Alternate forms of funding based on eligibility may be obtained, and Daytop New Jersey offers sliding scale financial assistance as well. It is our commitment not to turn individuals away due to inability to pay.
Intensive Outpatient Services (IOP) provides individuals with substance use and/or mental health challenges an opportunity to receive intensive treatment, concentrated over the course of several weeks to better ensure a successful treatment outcome. Although a schedule is individualized based on need, typically IOP treatment occurs 3 hours a day for 3-5 days a week, with a gradual reduction of frequency over a period of multiple weeks. As a recognized best standard of the outpatient treatment protocol, combined with psychiatric assessment and treatment, IOP services allow individuals to continue to work or attend school while they receive the necessary treatment.
