Oconee Center has six (6) board of directors who offer direction, guidance, and oversight to the Oconee Center through the Executing Director. A director is elected by the respective Board of County Commissioner to represent each of Oconee Center’s six-count service areas. Baldwin Count has two elected representatives. The executive director is appointed directly by Oconee Community Service Board and is responsible for the daily operations of the Oconee Center.
This is a therapeutic center which has rehabilitative, social skills building service for individuals with long-term psychiatric and co-occurring disabilities. Their goal is to provide recovery, empowerment focused environment so that consumers can reside in the community of their choice and live a fulfilled life.
