Medical detox is a medication-assisted program that uses non-narcotic medications to bring an individual through a detoxification process during a relaxed, pain-free time frame. The program is directed and operated by a licensed physician and team of nurses who are specialists in addictive medicine therapies. Depending upon a person’s substance abuse, an average detox length of stay will be 2-5 days.
