Founded in Detroit, Michigan by a priest and two recovering individuals, SHAR has grown and evolved from a little therapeutic community starting at an area parish to a multi-million dollar human service agency. We provide treatment for approximately 6,000 individuals annually through our various service centers. This center focuses on developing and administering innovative programs for difficult, special problems. SHAR believes our programs can and do make a difference.
