Kent Sussex Community Services (KSCS) established in 1970 as a small methadone maintenance program, organized by a volunteer staff that included physicians and nurses. These volunteers recognized the need for therapy as heroin overdoses became prevalent in the area. Over the course of 40 years, KSCS has developed from a small methadone clinic to a comprehensive behavioral health and community services organization that affords ethical and supportive evidence-based treatment to help in combating the opioid epidemic facing Delaware and the nation; and prevention, education, case management services to Delawareans who are at risk or living with chronic diseases.
They provide recovery services to individuals at risk for or living with chronic diseases.

This place has an amazing program. It is smaller and more intimate and the building is very nice. I saw a good hospitalization from Sussex County Counseling Services.
I would like to talk about a special man. I called Sussex County Counseling Services over tow and a half years ago because my daughter needed rehab but refused to go. But he never gave up he is a caring person and because of his Dedication, my daughter finally went to rehab. I feel that everyone I spoke to were very caring but he went above and beyond. I will be forever grateful
