This place gives you hope. It teaches you how to live a life without drugs/alcohol. The staff is phenomenal and really goes the extra mile to make you feel like a person and not like some chump. This program works if you work it and it gives you the chance to live life on lifes terms. I highly recommend anyone trying to get psych or addiction treatment, to come here. I've seen this place save so many lives and give so many people a sense of being and wanting to be an active and good member of society. HWB is a good plave to go to start your recovery and they will help you while you transition back into daily life.

There is no amount of words that could describe the love that I have for center. From the first day that I arrived, with more fear and no desire to continue on the men in the community and the staff did not hesitate to walk me through the process of recovery.

Without medical treatment and supervision, breaking free of addiction to alcohol, opiates, and benzodiazepines can be life-threatening. We admit clients experiencing withdrawal symptoms into our medically monitored Detoxification Unit on a first-come-first-serve basis
Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.; lobby hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Clients in emergency hospital care can also transfer to our facility to receive full medical detoxification on a 24-hour, 7 days a week basis.
