RSCT was founded by Jay Seigel and Reinhard Straub who have been colleagues and friends for several years. They have been “in the trenches” dealing with the stark reality of alcoholism merged for 50 years. Jay and Reinhard see the current drug crisis as a series of failed and mistaken health emergencies that have plagued New England, the Tri-state region and the whole USA. They have an intensity for traditional abstinence-based rehabilitation and had a great victory in treating people and families struggling with alcoholism.
In 2018 they founded RSCT, an accredited outpatient substance abuse facility in Madison, Connecticut and recruited a talented team of dedicated experts. Given their experience with powerful abstinence-based therapy, Jay and Reinhard appropriate a systemic multidisciplinary team strategy to addiction therapy. The RSCT offers endeavors to join the Clients whenever possible, the family and stakeholders in the treatment and rehabilitation method.
