New Life Center
New Life is a piece of CHR’s Center of Excellence for Women/Children, located at our Putnam campus. The New Life Program for Women and Children is a residential therapy program proposing a standard level of care for women with newborns and toddlers and/or pregnant mothers with a record of substance abuse and mental health problems. They assist women to attain recovery and maintain a healthy lifestyle with a focus on improving effective parenting skills. Mothers and children can stay for 4-6 months, based on each woman’s individualized therapy plan. Methadone services are possible through our Pathways Medication Assisted Treatment Program.

Our extensive services are recovery-oriented, gender-responsive, and trauma-informed. Being a new mother while fighting with a substance abuse issue can feel like too much to manage. At New Life Program they are here to offer help and support so that women can understand that.

FAQ

It’s important to write down a list of information to provide the admissions consultant with. The more relevant information the admissions consultant have, the easier it will be for them to guide you toward recovery options that may be suitable for you.

Many individuals seeking rehab travel to a rehab facility away from their home. This is beneficial in some cases because it removes users from their home environment where they abuse drugs or alcohol.
