The UAB Medicine Addiction Recovery Program provides an individualized plan to the estimation and therapy of alcohol and substance abuse. Our team is constituted of authorized and certified advisers and social workers who work alone and in groups with sufferers to give kind, caring treatment for alcoholism. We provide confidential evaluations to address the inpatient and outpatient therapy options available through our program. Our medical director will meet with you individually to determine the best level of care to meet your requirements.
Our core inpatient program involves daily group treatment and speeches, recreational therapy five days a week, family sessions, weekly individual therapy sessions, mental and psychiatric evaluations as required, and a follow-up care program to help you remain calm after the beginning treatment. UAB Medicine Addiction Recovery provides a proven way to overcome addiction and take back control of your career, without the stigma or “one-size-fits-all” procedure associated with some recovery programs.

Excellent staff, facility and food! Facility is nice, and the amenities were good but what really made the difference for my sister were the staff.
Facility here is real nice and the staff here is good because a lot of them have seen stuff in real life and they walk the walk when it comes to recovery. Ive had family go here cause of family history with drugs and they all clean.
